On 19 March, Crescamus Lodge together with friends and family, gathered at Croydon and District Masonic Halls to enjoy a Sunday carvery.

Carvery

Enjoying a three-course Sunday lunch was the great fun for all; many realising that their eyes were bigger than their stomachs!

Members and their families often go out for a bite to eat or a drink just because we want to get together. Sometimes we also meet people who have expressed an interest in joining our lodge.

The excellent monthly carvery laid on by Croydon and District Masonic Halls gave all the perfect excuse. We were joined by a friend who wanted to know a more about Freemasonry, and Crescamus Lodge with a view to joining. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the carvery certainly went down well with a few glasses of wine or beer!

Celebration

The afternoon was made even more special following an announcement by the Lodge’s Secretary. At the Surrey Provincial AGM in June, he will be appointed a Provincial Grand Steward by the Provincial Grand Master. The news of which prompted the opening of several bottles of bubbly!

A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all and a quick photo was taken as a record.
