Crescamus Curry Night 2018

On Saturday 9 June, members of Crescamus Lodge, and the partners descended on the Chat House in Croydon for our annual Lodge of Instruction Curry Night.

Lodge of Instruction

Other than Lodge Meetings, members meet weekly at a Lodge of Instruction where they both practice and learn more about the ritual. At the end of each Masonic season, the Lodge of Instruction organises a relaxed night out for members and their partners, one of many social events the Lodge organises.

Having met in a local pub, for a few drinks on a hot June evening, before taking a short walk to the restaurant, the conversation was flowing as people caught-up with each other. The restaurant was very busy and with great food proved to be a perfect venue for the annual curry night.

New Member

We reguarly invite potential new members to our social events, and this night was no different. We were joined on this occasion by a potential new member who brought his wife, so they could experience the hospitality of the members and make new friends. They both had such a great time, that by the end of the evening, our guest asked if he could join Crescamus Lodge and Freemasonry.

We all had a great time and agreed to have another social evening in the very near future. Great food was had, all washed down with many pints of Cobra, before goodnight’s were said. Although some had such a great time, they retired to a local pub until late to continue the conversation over a few gin and tonics!
